Everyday on my way to the Studio I drive over the I-74 bridge, and my eyes have always been drawn to the bright blue tennis courts of a park in Bettendorf. I wanted to do shoot some images there, and Josh and Sara were kind enough to let me! I love the images we captured at that location! A few of the images with the blue will make a great background on panoramic page in the album.
Sara and Josh reside in Boston, and Josh is a lifelong Red Sox fan! I'm a lifelong Cubs fan, and maybe someday the Cubs will get to the World Series too...and play the Red Sox!

Shoot With Beckstead!
I will be in Chicago the rest of the week for a Shoot With Beckstead wedding photography seminar! It's a great opportunity to shoot with one of the best wedding photographers in the world, and meet some photographers from all over the region. I always strive for excellence and try to take my images to a higher level at every wedding. But this week I should come home Friday night inspired and ready to take my wedding photography to the next level!

My studio will be closed Wednesday Thursday and Friday this week. I will return to the studio and office on Monday, June 16th.

Wedding Photography in the Quad Cities with Rick Jennisch!
Thinking outside the box!
Sometimes I drive around looking for a new location to shoot some cool wedding images, but last week I just happened to drive by a great one! I was driving through Moline and saw this colorful area in the La Florciente neighborhood in Moline. We shot plenty of images at St. John Vianney in Bettendorf, and a good number at The Quad City Botanical Center at Rock Island, and we had plenty of time to make some stops along the way. Variety is the spice of life, and it spices up the wedding photography too!
Sometimes my clients come up with some great locations as well. Kathleen found a willow tree by the River in Bettendorf and it was perfect for bride and groom photography.
Here are a few images from our wedding last weekend! I will post some more images this week from Kristi's and myself. And I will also get some of Felicia's up from Kristine and Mike's wedding on the 24th.

Engagement session in downtown Davenport!
Ashley and Joe's wedding date is September 13, 2008. We used the train car at the freight house for a background, and they recently put on a fresh coat of yellow paint. I love colorful backgrounds!
