Mike and Kritine had a beautiful day for their wedding, and the way the weather has been lately, we were really lucky! David Ruby with Ruby Media Services did the videography and Staack Florist did the flowers. I will list the other vendors on Wednesday. We shot at a variety of locations in downtown Moline in addition to the church; I have posted a few of my favorites! As you can tell by the images I selected, Mike and Kristine were having fun, and I think the wedding party and the phototgraphers had fun too!

Elizabeth and Paul's wedding date is June 28, 2008. We did their engagement session two weeks ago in downtown Davenport, and here are a few of my favorites!

I have shot quite a few engagement sessions the past few weeks. The engagemnt session is a good time to get to know a couple better, build a rapport, and get a feel of how the wedding day shoot will go.

I shot Holly and Aaron's engagement session last week on Thursday afternoon. We started the session at The Butterworth Center and then went to downtown Moline.

Bridal Session

The images below are just a few from a two hour bridal session I shot in downtown Davenport last Saturday. The models, Sorcia and Jayna, are my clients; I want to thank them for their time and for doing an excellent job at the shoot! The images have an urban look, and I selected three locations in the back alleys of downtown Davenport. It was nice to shoot a bridal session without the time contraints of the wedding day. It was a great way to kick-off the 2008 wedding season that is upon us!

Matt and Melanie Bishop from Media Innovations shot video of the model shoot. Matt shot the video, and Melanie shot some photography; Melanie will be working with my studio this year as a second shooter. Lynn Carr from Clazzy Designs provided two great bouquets for Jayna and Sorcia. At the end of the session we played around and Jayne and Sorcia toosed the bouquets in the air. Something you just can't do on the wedding day! Thanks Lynn!

Second Shooters:

Tiffanie Weaver and Melanie Bishop came along as second shooters. Both of them will be doing some second shooting for my studio this year. I wanted additional photographers to capure images from an entirely different perspective than mine. I will post some of their work on the blog soon.

Wedding Dance, Etc.

On Wednesday I was commissioned to shoot a session at Wedding Dance, Etc. with Gina Hampton. The images will be used on for marketing purposes and their new web site. There were a variety of dance routines, which included some couples, groups, and individual performers. Here are a few of my favorites!
